What's Hot: Bell Let's Talk




Only today Bell Mobility Customers will be able to send text messages and make international calls and Bell mobility will donate 6 cents for every message sent and recieved on Bell Mobility phones. Let's Talk was a campaign started on September 21, 2010. This will be a five- year $50 million initiative that will support a wide range of programs to bring awareness of mental illness and promote access to care across the country. .
Some facts about mental illness:
- 1 in 5 people will experience a form of mental illness at some point in their time in Canada.
- Mental illness is the leading cause of disability in Canada. Accounting for 30% of disability claims, and representing 70% of the total cost.
- Only 5.5 % of our healthcare dollars in Canada are dedicated to mental illness.
- Millions of people are affected by mental illness around the world.
- It is expected that by 2020 mental illness will be the leading cause of disability in the world.
