Autumn

Autumn can have so many different meanings—a time of harvest, preparing for the winter ahead, Halloween and of course fall fashion.

To me, autumn reminds me of the sounds and smells in the air and also of change. The leaves change colour, the temperature cooler and also a good time to make changes in my own life. I like to re-evaluate set goals I've already made, or better yet, make new ones. I find the wide array of colours on the trees might just help me come up with fresh aspirations.

While you are thinking of fresh ideas, think of new things you would like to take pleasure in this season and make a list. There are so many things to do this time of year, like watch plays or go to festivals in the city. My favourite autumn activity is pumpkin picking. I remember doing that just about every year when I was growing up and I still enjoy it now! I love autumn because of the exciting family dinners and partying with my friends.

Autumn is one of the most popular times to plan a wedding -- and for good reasons! Fabulous natural foliage and great weather makes great fall weddings.

So with all these fun things going on this fall don’t stay in, go out and do something new. Whether you’re getting married or falling in love with a new interest, book, band, activity or food, remember to take in the beauty of fall’s magical scenery before it all turns white! ;)

Let me know what fabulous fall things you’re doing this year...
