Friday April 1, 2011 What’s Fabulous will be attending Angela Chen’s runway show thanks to LG Fashion week. Having graduated from one of the most highly prestigious fashion schools, Parsons the New School for Design in New York, Chen was one of the most promising designers in her class. She has worked under some of the world’s top designers including Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera and Anna Sui. The transformative nature and alluring power of fashion inspires her to create collections that are minimal and structured, yet feminine and wearable. Previously working under the name “Orange”, Angela Chen has transitioned the brand name to “Or”. Chen has dressed celebrity clientele including Chloë Sevigny, Katy Perry, Emily Haines, Alison Pill, Kirsten Dunst of Spider-Man, and Canadian supermodels Daria Werbowy, and Coco Rocha. I've been playing Keri Hilson's music over and over this week. I have downloaded everything that she has released and damn I'm madly in love with her swag, she's such a bossy girl and I love it. Yes I know this song is a bit older but it's a goody and going through a breakup in the past couple of months I really relate to this song!!! Tell me what you think... What are you playing? Who Would You Call ??

Today marks the 100^th anniversary of International Women’s Day. So ladies, stand up and be proud! Today to commemorate the anniversary of International Women’s Day the Assaulted Women’s Helpline launched their campaign called “Who Would You Call?” . This campaign is to simply celebrate and pay tribute to the important friends and family in your life that we can call no matter what time of day it is. There are about 49,000+ women living in Ontario that aren’t so fortunate and have the helpline to listen 24/7. With this, the Assaulted Women’s Helpline is inviting people to write a story (or letter, or blog post, or poem or film a video or whatever else you can think of) to honor your amazing friend (s).








Today is the launch of the website and the campaign will continue until April 15^th.

The Assaulted Women’s Helpline is a toll free crisis line service for all women in Ontario. We provide crisis counselling, emotional support, information and referrals 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The main goal is to get people talking and thinking - by celebrating your uber-fantastic friends and recognizing that we're pretty lucky to have friends like that to celebrate - not everyone is in the same boat and that’s why the Helpline exists.

What's Hot Wednesday's: Aspiring R & B Artist Tuzzy

I love listening to up and coming Canadian music artists. Music is my passion and I could just sit around all day listening to it. When I recieved an email from this artist I was inclined to listen to it. Tuzzy an aspiring R & B artist from Toronto sent me over his new video for his new hit “Skeletons” and I really have to say, I LOVE IT!!!!

What's Fabulous: The New IPAD 2

Since I have seen the iPad in a couple of meetings, I have been in love with it. I want one!!! However, thank goodness I haven't purchased one yet, as the new iPad 2 comes out today. If you go over to the Apple Website and click on store you will see that it is down for 'updates' however today at a special event held at 10 a.m. PT the Apple Store online will be back up. The store should be back online after the announcement showing off the new shiny iPad.
